In the case of regular verbs, each conjugation group has six endings in the present tense which are appended to the verbal stem.
All regular verbs of the same conjugation group have the same endings in the indicative present (and the other tenses). They are attached to the verbal stem without any changes.

Regular verbs with ending on –ir
Further regular verbs with ending –ir are for example: Subir, escribir, partir, decidir, imprimier, prohibir, recibir, cubrir Characteristics: The endings of the -er and -ir conjugations are almost identical in the indicative present tense. Only the first two persons plural differ from each other. In the -er conjugation there is a -e in the 1st person plural and a -e in the 2nd person plural before the ending -is additional -e- (éis).
